What a wonderful show in Chicago last weekend. Everything was well run and engineered. We were in classes all of Saturday, early Sunday and early Monday morning. We gained so much information, our heads were spinning when we returned to our store on Tuesday. There were four of us, we split up into pairs and just tried to do as much as possible. Between classes, exhibitions, and all of the companies showing, it was great! Thanks again for all of your hard work and for addressing all of the woes and problems we independents have. On to next year!

Congratulations on a very successful show! Buyers were pleased with the vendors, the layout, and the educational sessions. The vendors I talked with felt the show surpassed their expectations, which were understandably low based on the economy. I asked the all-important question ... will you exhibit again next year? The answer was a resounding "yes." That's hardly a scientific survey, but I wanted to share. The Sunday evening event was a blast! GES staff and security were fabulous. Even our bus driver was committed to exceptional customer service. Well done! Give yourselves a well deserved pat on the back.

I first want to congratulate all of INSTORE for putting on a fantastic show. It was one of the easiest shows to work, done with attention to every detail and everyone really worked together to make it happen. The atmosphere was laid back and pleasant. No tension. I think the people working the show were as nice as I have ever seen and the venue was great. We did very well with our sales and the reaction to our collection. It is the first show that I have ever done where other manufactures were actually sending their sales reps over to talk to us about carrying our line. Some even hurried to get to us before the "other" store could buy from us in their area! It was such a positive reaction and we were thrilled! INSTORE should really be commended to creating a positive energy when everywhere else in the industry it is still very difficult!

I wanted to express my true satisfaction in attending your INSTORE show. It was a fantastic experience filled with enlightenment and education. I enjoyed the vendors and the seminars. The speakers are truly gifted in their fields of expertise, especially Kate Peterson. I attended numerous seminars and found them to be extremely helpful especially since I have found myself increasingly "jaded" from disappointing seminars in my past. I also enjoyed networking with so many other jewelers from around the country. I usually do not have this opportunity at the JCK and JA shows (as well as Tucson) that I normally attend. Being able to speak with them and share ideas, problems and store business was enlightening. I was thrilled at the refreshment I received at your first show. I only wish the weather was better!

There was an overriding feeling at the show, which came from the top down, of cooperation and assistance among attendees. My attendance at 25 years of major tradeshows always left me feeling that other buyers were my opposition, not a source of valuable information and friendship. That feeling translated into everything at the show. Even the vendors who normally "hawk" were toned down a bit to an attitude that was more genteel and respectful.
